These buffalo chicken sliders are stuffed with shredded chicken and cheese, then topped off with garlic butter. A quick and easy recipe that feeds a crowd!
Easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders
These sliders are packed with flavor, a little spicy, and super cheesy. I make these as often as I make these buffalo shrimp and slow cooker buffalo chicken dip because I just love buffalo sauce!
Ingredient Notes
Bread – I used store-bought butter rolls but you can use Hawaiian rolls or homemade dinner rolls.
Chicken – I highly recommend using store-bought rotisserie chicken because it will save you lots of time. However, feel free to use homemade roasted chicken.
Cheese – A combination of mozzarella cheese, provolone, and blue cheese crumbles are what I used.
Ranch Dressing – Make sure to get good quality ranch dressing at the produce section. It makes such a difference!
Buffalo Sauce – Any type of original buffalo sauce will work.
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the rolls in half with a serrated knife and place the bottom half of the rolls on the baking sheet and layer it with provolone cheese.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, blue cheese crumbles, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Check for seasoning.
- Layer the chicken mixture on top of the rolls and then top it off with mozzarella cheese. Place the tops of the rolls on top of the cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine the butter and garlic.
- Brush the rolls with the butter mixture and then bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
Top Tips
- If you don’t like pulled chicken too saucy, start with 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce and 1/4 cup of ranch dressing instead of 1/2 cup.
- Not a fan of ranch dressing? Use bleu cheese dressing instead.
- Add cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the chicken mixture, if you like it extra spicy.
What Can I Serve These With?
You can serve these buffalo chicken sliders with creamy coleslaw, potato chips, or 4 cheese mac and cheese for a complete meal.
Storage
If you have any leftovers, place them in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 400 degrees F. for 5-10 minutes.
