Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 bananas ripe and mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a fork, mash the ripe bananas and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the unsalted softened butter, vanilla extract, eggs, yogurt, and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the mashed bananas to the sugar mixture along with the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon. Do not overmix.
Fold in 1/2 cup of the dark chocolate chips and then pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Add the remaining chocolate chips on top and bake for 58 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let it cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack before slicing into it. Enjoy with butter if desired.
Do not overmix the batter.
