- 1 lb pork belly cut into 1 or 2-inch cubes
- 1/2 tsp sazon
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
In a small bowl, combine the sazon, oregano, salt, cumin, and black pepper.
Pour the oil over the pork belly cubes along with the spice blend and baking soda. Mix well.
Spray your air fryer basket with nonstick spray and add the pork belly cubes to the basket. Spread the pork belly in a single layer.
Cook for 20 minutes at 250 degrees F. Once the 20 minutes are up, flip the pork belly, increase the temperature to 400 degrees F. and cook for 5-10 minutes or until crispy. Enjoy!
- Don't overcook the pork belly for too long otherwise, it can get dry on the inside.
- Allow the pork belly to sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking.
- Don't discard the fat! It's super tasty when it crisps up and it's basically the best part.
- Make sure to pat dry the pork belly dry with a paper towel before seasoning.
