Fig & Goat Cheese Turnovers

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 1/2 cup goat cheese or cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- sugar sprinkles or raw sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 equal-sized squares and add about 2 tbsp of fig jam and 2 tbsp of goat cheese to each square.
To make the egg wash, beat 1 egg and 1 tbsp of water.
Brush egg wash on the edges of the pastry, bring the edges together like a triangle, and seal it with your fingers or a fork.
Brush the tops with egg wash, cut a slit in the top of each turnover, and then sprinkle some sugar sprinkles on top. Bake for 22 minutes and enjoy!
