This decadent batido de mamey is a thick milkshake made with mamey, milk, ice, and a pinch of salt. It's sweet, creamy, and super delicious!

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 whole mamey about 3 cups
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk or to taste
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the mamey fruit, you want to cut it the same way you would an avocado. Discard the seed and skin.
  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you want it sweeter, add more sweetened condensed milk or sugar. Enjoy cold!

Notes

  • I like batido de mamey on the thicker side so I added only 2 cups of whole milk. If you want it thinner, add 3 cups of milk.
  • Top the milkshake with fresh mamey chunks. Adds flavor and texture!
