Hot Honey Salmon Bites

These hot honey salmon bites are super easy to make and require minimal ingredients. They cook perfectly in just 5 minutes in the air fryer!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon cut into 2-inch chunks
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup cholula hot sauce
  • 3 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • nonstick spray

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F. for 5 minutes and spray the basket with nonstick spray. 
  • In a small bowl, combine the granulated garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, and Italian seasoning. 
  • Slice the salmon into 2-inch chunks and season with salt, pepper, the spice blend, and lemon juice. 
  • Add the honey and hot sauce to a small bowl and mix until well combined. Reserve about 1/4 cup of the sauce and set it aside. 
  • Pour the hot honey sauce over the salmon chunks and mix well. Place the salmon chunks in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Don't overcrowd the air fryer, cook in batches. 
  • Place the salmon bites on a platter and pour the remaining 1/4 cup hot honey sauce over the top and enjoy! 

Notes

  • Allow the salmon to sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking. This will allow the salmon to cook evenly.
  • Don't overcook the salmon bites. The salmon bites are very small and don't need to cook that long. Doing so will result in dry salmon bites.
  • Want to make these spicier? Add more cayenne pepper!
  • Make sure all of the salmon chunks are about the same size otherwise they won't cook evenly.
