Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups vanilla ice cream about 6 large scoops
  • 2 bananas use frozen if you want it extra thick
  • 1/4 cup whole milk

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Top if off with sliced bananas and whipped cream, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • I used ripe bananas but if you don't like your milkshake too sweet, use unripe bananas. Just make sure the bananas aren't green and hard.
  • Another great way to make it less sweet is to add a pinch of salt and a spoonful of peanut butter.
  • Feel free to top the banana milkshake off with whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, caramel sauce, or chocolate sauce.
  • Use a high-powered blender.
  • If you want your banana milkshake to be extra thick, use frozen bananas.
