Air Fryer Honey Glazed Salmon

This air fryer honey-glazed salmon is flaky, succulent, and tender. It cooks in under 10 minutes and you only need a handful of ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 salmon fillets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 teaspoons chili paste
  • 3 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Pat salmon dry and season with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides. 
  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and place the salmon fillets in the basket. Cook at 400 degrees F for 4 minutes. 
  • While the salmon cooks, combine the honey, minced garlic, chili paste, and soy sauce. Taste it and adjust it to your liking. If you want it spicier, add more chili paste, if you want it sweeter, add more honey, and if you want it saltier, add more soy sauce. 
  • Once the 4 minutes are up, brush the salmon fillets generously with the honey soy sauce. Cook for an additional 3 minutes. The salmon was cooked for a total of 7 minutes. 
  • Enjoy the salmon with extra honey sauce, if desired. 

Notes

  • Don't overcook the salmon, I think 7 minutes at 400 degrees F is plenty but if your salmon fillets are on the thicker side, feel free to do 8-9 minutes.
  • I prefer to cook the salmon for 4 minutes before brushing it with the sauce so the sauce doesn't burn. However, if you like that charred look and taste, feel free to brush the raw salmon with the honey sauce and cook it for 7 minutes straight.
  • I highly recommend serving the salmon fillets with the remaining honey sauce.
  • I used skinless salmon but if using skin-on salmon, make sure to cook it skin-side down.
