Espresso Martini

Learn how to make an easy espresso martini with minimal ingredients and an extra foamy top! This popular after-dinner drink is strong, sweet, and a coffee lover’s dream.

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Liquid Measurer

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce espresso chilled
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce kahlua or any coffee liqueror
  • ½ ounce simple syrup *check notes*
  • coffee beans, for garnish
  • ice

Instructions

  • Prepare your espresso as usual, and set it in the fridge to chill. 
  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice. Then, add all of the ingredients, and shake vigorously to combine. 
  • Strain the liquid into a chilled martini glass, top it with 3 coffee beans, and enjoy!

Notes

You can easily find pre-made simple syrup at the grocery store. Or, make your own by boiling equal amounts of water and sugar and letting it cool. If you like your martinis extra sweet, add more simple syrup than suggested.
