Equipment

  • air fryer

Ingredients

  • 32 little smokies or 5-6 hot dogs cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, beat the egg and water, then set it aside.
  • Cut out 8 strips from the puff pastry sheet and then cut across 3 times so you have four rows. Brush each strip with dijon mustard, if desired.
  • Place a little smokie at the end of each strip and roll each little smokie one at a time. Make sure to pinch the seams and brush the dough with the egg wash.
  • Spray your air fryer basket with nonstick spray and place about 10-12 little smokies in the basket. Work in batches if you have to but don't overcrowd the basket.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes and serve with ketchup and mustard, if desired!

Notes

  • Want to add some shredded cheese? Go for it! Add a little bit of shredded cheese right before rolling.
  • Try different flavored smokies. Some grocery stores carry cheese-filled or bbq smokies.
