Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 12-cup bundt pan.
In a large bowl, mix the eggs, sour cream, and oil. Mix until well combined, then add the chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding, and water. Mix until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and then pour the cake batter into the prepared bundt pan.
Bake the cake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. However, keep in mind that we included chocolate chips, so the knife may not be entirely clean. As each oven varies, start checking the cake at the one-hour mark.
Once the cake comes out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then use a knife to loosen the center and edges of the cake. Invert it onto a plate and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
While The cake cools, prepare the chocolate ganache. To make the ganache, pour the hot heavy cream over the chocolate chips and let it sit for a few minutes until the chocolate begins to melt.
Using a whisk or spatula, gently stir the chocolate and cream until it is smooth and well combined. Allow it to thicken, and then pour it over the cake.
Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy!
