- 1 lb Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes.
- 4 garlic cloves finely minced
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley, if desired
Season the beef with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Stir in the butter and garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Check for seasoning, garnish with parsley, if desired, and enjoy!
- Don't overcrowd the skillet otherwise, the beef will just steam and you won't get a nice crust!
- Let the beef sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking.
- Don't cook the garlic for more than 20 seconds or it can burn and turn bitter.
- Make sure your skillet is very hot before you adding the steak tips!
- Place any leftovers in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
