Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes.
  • 4 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley, if desired

Instructions

  • Season the beef with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat the oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • Stir in the butter and garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Check for seasoning, garnish with parsley, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don't overcrowd the skillet otherwise, the beef will just steam and you won't get a nice crust!
  • Let the beef sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking.
  • Don't cook the garlic for more than 20 seconds or it can burn and turn bitter.
  • Make sure your skillet is very hot before you adding the steak tips!
  • Place any leftovers in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
