Air Fryer Honey Chipotle Shrimp

This air fryer shrimp recipe is made with just 4 ingredients! Honey, chipotle sauce, lemon, and shrimp is all you need.

  • 1 lb shrimp raw, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, chipotle sauce, and lemon juice. 
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and then pour the chipotle sauce over the shrimp. 
  • Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the shrimp in the air fryer basket at 400 degrees F. Lay the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Once the 3 minutes are up, flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 3 minutes. 
  • Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy! 


  • Taste the honey-chipotle sauce before adding it to the shrimp. If it's too spicy, add more honey. If it's not spicy enough, add 1/2 chipotle pepper to the sauce mixture.
  • Make sure to use raw shrimp.
  • Pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel and remove any excess moisture before seasoning.
  • Don't have chipotle sauce on hand? Use sriracha instead.
