BBQ Grilled Shrimp Skewers
These bbq grilled shrimp skewers are packed with flavor, smoky, and so much fun to eat! Great for parties, barbecues, appetizers, lunch, or dinner.

- 2 lbs peeled and deveined shrimp
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes otherwise they can burn.
In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Add the shrimp, spice mixture, oil, and garlic to a large bowl and mix until well combined.
Thread shrimp onto skewers. I did about 4 shrimp per skewer.
Heat your grill to about 400 degrees F. and lightly oil the grill so the shrimp don't stick.
Place the skewers on the grill and sear for about 2 minutes. Flip the skewers and brush the shrimp with bbq sauce. Cook for about 1 minute then flip and brush with bbq sauce. Continue flipping the shrimp and brushing them with bbq sauce until they're fully cooked through.
Serve with fresh lemon and enjoy!
