Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops boneless or bone-in
  • 3 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Season the chops with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  • Sear the chops for about 5 minutes on each side in a hot skillet with vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Make sure to sear the fat on the sides as well. Get it nice and crispy.
  • Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside. Add the fresh minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 20 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Add the honey, chicken stock, and soy sauce and let it come up to a simmer. Place the pork chops back into the skillet and bake until browned, crispy, and fully cooked through.

Notes

  • Don't press the pork chops down with a spatula, it will release all the juices.
  • Do not overcook the pork chops.
  • Use a meat thermometer and cook the pork chops until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
  • Let the pork chops rest for about 2 minutes before slicing into them, that will help retain the juices.
