Air Fryer Whole Chicken

This air fryer whole chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection in just 55 minutes! A quick and easy way to cook chicken that comes out perfect every single time.

Serve this delicious chicken with creamy mashed potatoes and cheesy garlic asparagus for a complete dinner. It’s juicy, tender, and has the most amazing crispy skin.

INGREDIENTS

– whole chicken – olive oil – garlic powder – paprika – italian seasoning – lemon – salt – pepper

Discard the giblets and pat dry the chicken with a paper towel. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Rub the chicken with the oil mixture all over and under the skin. Spray your air fryer basket with nonstick spray.

Place the chicken in the air fryer basket breast side down. Turn the air fryer on to 360 degrees F. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes.

Flip the chicken over, season the skin with extra salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 25 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 165 F.
