All you need is a saucepan with a lid and a few simple ingredients to make this fail-proof garlic butter rice. It’s buttery, garlicky, and incredibly delicious.

– Jasmine rice – Water – Garlic – Butter – Salt

In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic and cook for 10 seconds.

Add the water and salt and let it come to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, stir in the rice, cover, and reduce the heat to low.

Once the 15 minutes are up, uncover and fluff the rice with a fork. Stir in 1 tbsp of butter and check for seasoning.

Garnish with remaining butter and fresh parsley, if desired. Enjoy immediately.

Tips and Recipe Variations

– Make sure to cover the rice with a lid and cook on low heat. If you cook the rice on high heat, it may burn and stick to the bottom of the saucepan.
