Fried Tilapia
This fried tilapia recipe is super easy to make and made with just a handful of ingredients! Packed with flavor, super crunchy, and made in under 20 minutes. Enjoy with lemon wedges, hot sauce, and tartar sauce.

- 1 lb tilapia
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp old bay seasoning or to taste
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 3 eggs whisked
- salt and pepper to taste
- oil, for frying
Whisk 3 eggs in a bowl and set aside. Season the all-purpose flour with old bay seasoning, granulated garlic, and lemon zest. Whisk well.
Season the tilapia on both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Dip the tilapia in the eggs and then coat on both sides with the seasoned flour. Make sure to coat the fish 2-3 times before frying.
Fry the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side and enjoy! Serve with lots of lemon juice and hot sauce.
