- 2 1/2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Honey BBQ Sauce
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar or white vinegar
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp chili powder
- 2 cups water
Add all of the BBQ sauce ingredients to a sauce pan and cook over high heat until it turns into a rapid boil, then lower the heat to medium low and cook for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
While the BBQ sauce cooks, combine the granulated garlic, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and chicken in a large bowl and toss to thoroughly coat the chicken.
Lay the chicken in a single layer on a baking sheet with a rack and place it in the oven for 30 minutes.
Brush the honey BBQ sauce on both sides of the chicken and let it cook for an additional 30 minutes or until fully cooked through.
When the chicken wings are fully done cooking, toss them in some extra honey BBQ sauce and enjoy!
