Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen strawberries
  • ¼ cup tequila or to taste
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 4 tablespoons simple syrup

Simple Syrup

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Start by preparing the simple syrup. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool completely.
  • Place the frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, and cooled simple syrup in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • To thicken the margarita, add more frozen strawberries. To achieve a looser consistency, add more lime juice, tequila, or a splash of water.
  • Want it stronger? After serving the margarita in a glass, add a splash of tequila on top to create a floater.
  • Feel free to use frozen watermelon or pineapple instead of strawberries for watermelon or pineapple margarita variations.
