Classic Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups lemon juice about 10-12 lemons
  • 6 cups filtered water
  • ice

Instructions

  • Place the sugar and 2 cups of water in a large saucepan and cook until the sugar dissolves. About 3-4 minutes.
  • Let the sugar water mixture cool completely. While that cools, juice your lemons.
  • Add the sugar water mixture to a large pitcher along with some ice, lemon juice, and 6 cups of filtered water. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use filtered water and make sure the simple syrup is completely cooled before using. 
  • Use juicy and ripe lemons.
