Air Fryer Chicken Breasts 

These air fryer chicken breasts are tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. No brining or marinade is needed, just a simple homemade chicken rub.

I love this recipe because it’s easy, flavorful, and the brown sugar in the spice rub balances all of the spices while adding a hint of sweetness.

INGREDIENTS

– Chicken breasts – Garlic powder – Brown sugar – Onion powder – Paprika – Italian seasoning – Olive oil – Kosher salt – Black pepper – Cooking spray

Trim off any fat and pat dry the chicken breasts with a paper towel. 

Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and both sides and season generously on both sides.

Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts in the basket.

Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into it and enjoy! 

Tips and Recipe Variations

– Allow the chicken to rest at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking. – If the chicken breasts you use are very small, check them at the 12-minute mark.
