Cutting Board
- 2 cucumbers about 1 & 1/4 lb *very thinly sliced*
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh dill
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Add the mayo, sour cream, sugar, and vinegar to a large bowl, and mix until well combined.
Fold in the cucumbers, onions, and fresh dill. Season generously with salt and pepper and enjoy!
- Season the salad very generously with salt and pepper.
- Allow the cucumber salad to sit for at least 5 minutes before serving to let the flavors combine.
- The thinner the cucumber slices are, the easier it will be to stir the salad.
- Not a fan of seeds? Scrape them out and discard them.
- Want to make it a tad bit healthier? Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo and sour cream.
- Salt the cucumber slices to draw out excess moisture for about 5 minutes before mixing in the dressing if you wish but keep in mind that it will soften the cucumbers.
