Ingredients

  • 2 cod fish fillets pat dry with a paper towel
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • sesame seeds, for garnishing optional

Instructions

  • Pat dry the cod fillets with a paper towel on both sides and preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, miso paste, mirin, and soy sauce.
  • Brush the cod fillets liberally with the glaze on all sides. Bake for 10 minutes and broil for 1-2 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Although I think this recipe is perfect, taste the sauce and adjust it to your liking!
  • If using frozen cod that's been thawed, squeeze out any excess water with a paper towel before cooking.
  • Take the cod fish out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
