Equipment

  • Electric mixer
  • Bowl
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter softened
  • cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients except for the chocolate chips into a bowl and mix with an electric mixer. Mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and serve immediately. Serve with strawberries and graham cookies, if desired!

Notes

  • Make sure the unsalted butter and cream cheese are both softened at room temperature otherwise, the dip will turn out lumpy.
  • Once you're done folding the chocolate chips, transfer it to a nicer dish and serve immediately.
  • Serve with strawberries and graham crackers for best results.
  • Taste the dip before adding the chocolate chips, and add more sugar if necessary. Feel free to adjust this recipe to your liking.
