Classic Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 6 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh chives
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika, to taste

Instructions

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water.
  • Bring the water up to a rolling boil and cook for 9-10 minutes.
  • Place the eggs in cold water and then peel them.
  • Slice the eggs lengthwise and scoop out the yolk and place it in a bowl.
  • Mash the yolks using a fork. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Check for seasoning and add salt and pepper, if needed.
  • Evenly disperse the yolk mixture into the egg whites. Garnish with paprika, if desired and enjoy!
