Crockpot Candy

This crockpot candy is made with peanuts, chocolate, almond bark, and butterscotch chips. They're chocolaty, nutty, and insanely delicious. It's the ultimate dessert, snack, or holiday gift!

Ingredients

  • 1 16 ounce jar salted roasted peanuts
  • 1 16 ounce jar unsalted roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 24 ounce packages white vanilla almond bark

Instructions

  • Coat your crockpot with nonstick spray.
  • Place all of the ingredients in the crockpot, cover, and cook on low for one hour. DO NOT STIR.
  • After one hour, uncover, stir, cover, and cook for 1 additional hour.
  • Uncover and stir well. This cooked for a total of 2 hours on low heat.
  • Line about 4 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Drop 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the parchment paper leaving some space in between each candy. Allow them to set at room temperature for at least 1 hour. You can enjoy these while they're soft but do not store them until they're fully set.

Notes

  • Use good quality ingredients for the best results.
  • Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker but DO NOT stir! Just cover and cook on slow for one hour. After one hour, give it a good stir, cover it, and cook for 1 hour. You're going to cook it for a total of 2 hours on low heat.
  • If you enjoy these on the softer side, do not place them in the fridge to set. Allow them to set at room temperature.
  • Feel free to decorate these with dried fruit, sea salt, or sprinkles while they're still hot. If you wait until they set, the sprinkles, salt, or fruit won't stick to the candies.
  • Not a fan of butterscotch chips? Use peanut butter chips instead!
