    Why You’ll Love This Recipe

    • The shrimp are packed with flavor.
    • Cooks in under 15 minutes.
    • Shrimp is rich in selenium, choline, and vitamin B12.
    • It’s low carb, keto-friendly, and gluten-free.

    Ingredient Notes

    • Shrimp – For this recipe I used jumbo raw peeled and deveined shrimp. Any size shrimp will work, just make sure to use raw shrimp.
    • Garlic – Use fresh garlic for best results.
    • Butter – Salted or unsalted butter works, if using unsalted butter, make sure to add a pinch of salt.
    • Red Crushed Pepper Flakes – Completely optional.
    • Shallot – If you don’t have shallots on hand, use any type of onion.
    • Lemon – If you’re not a fan of citrus, simply omit it. Lime works too.

Top Tips For The Juiciest Baked Shrimp

    • Use real butter, not margarine. Also, make sure to use fresh garlic, not the one that comes in a jar. It makes a huge difference!
    • Don’t overcook the shrimp not even for a minute otherwise, they will become tough and dry.
    • If using frozen shrimp, make sure to thaw completely. For best results, use raw, peeled, and deveined shrimp.
    • Taste the butter mixture before pouring it over the shrimp!

    Can I Broil These?

Yes, if you don’t have the patience to wait for the oven to preheat, broiling is the perfect method for you! Broil the shrimp for 3-4 minutes, depending on the size.

How Do I Know When The Shrimp Are Cooked?

As soon as the shrimp turn pink, they’re ready to eat.

    Storage

Place any leftovers in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
