These chicken club sandwiches are made with crispy bacon, juicy chicken, avocado, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It’s super delicious and perfect for summer!
Serve these with French fries, coleslaw, and a side salad for a complete meal!

This sandwich was super easy to make! I used mayo and honey mustard for extra flavor, but feel free to use barbecue sauce or the condiments of your choice.
Top Tips
- Don’t feel like cooking chicken? Use store-bought rotisserie chicken or sliced turkey meat.
- There really is no wrong way to make this sandwich. You can rearrange the layers of the sandwich to whatever you prefer and add and skip ingredients as you like.
- Don’t have an air fryer? Pan sear the chicken instead!
- I used white bread but feel free to use whole wheat, sour dough, or any type of bread you have on hand.

Storage
I highly recommend eating this immediately after cooking but if you find yourself with leftovers, place them in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave or air fryer until heated through.

Chicken Club Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 large chicken breast, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 strips of bacon, cooked
- 2 avocados
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 6 slices white bread
- 4 romaine or butter lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon honey mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, and Italian seasoning.
- Brush the chicken breast with olive oil on both sides and then season it on both sides with the seasoning blend.
- Place the chicken breasts into the air fryer, making sure they are not overlapping. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 9-10 minutes, time will vary, depending on how thick they are. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the chicken is cooking, place the avocado flesh into a small bowl and add the lime juice and salt and pepper to taste. Lightly mash together, making sure the lime juice coats the avocado, this prevents browning.
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing a leaf of lettuce on a slice of bread. Cut the chicken breasts in half and add one piece on top of the lettuce. Add a slice of cheddar cheese and 3 strips of bacon over the chicken. Spread some mustard over a slice of bread and place the mustard side down over the bacon. Next add another leaf of lettuce and chicken, followed by 2 tomato slices and a scoop of avocado mash. Add the last slice of cheese. Spread some mayo to the top slice of bread and close the sandwich. Cut in half diagonally and enjoy
