Strawberry cobbler completely made from scratch! Serve this cold or warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate win. This is without a doubt the most simple recipe ever. Made with just a handful of ingredients in under 40 minutes.

Fresh Strawberry Cobbler in a baking dish with a wooden spoon and two strawberries on the side.

The idea for this stemmed from strawberries being on sale. Always take advantage of sales. I was thinking strawberry pie at first but then I thought, “do I really want to make pie dough?”.

So here is an easy recipe for strawberry cobbler that requires minimal effort and ingredients. What’s better than that? I’ll tell you what’s better, serving this warm with vanilla ice cream. Nothing beats that.

I highly recommend using fresh strawberries for this recipe. Slice or finely chop the strawberries, your choice. But whatever you do, please serve this with vanilla ice cream.

    How To Make This Recipe:

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Rinse and slice the fresh strawberries and toss with sugar.
    3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder.
    4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and then top it off with the sugared strawberries.
    5. Bake for 35 minutes.

Can I Use Canned Strawberries Instead Of Fresh?

I highly recommend using fresh strawberries for this recipe.

Other Than Ice Cream What Can I Serve This Strawberry Cobbler With?

Whipped cream goes perfectly with this cobbler. I would load this cobbler with both ice cream and whipped cream.
