If you’re hosting a party and want to serve vegetarian appetizers, you’re in luck! Although I love jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon or stuffed with chorizo, these are just as good. I recently made these mummy jalapeno poppers and everyone loved them!

Why I Love These Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers

    • They cook in just 6 minutes and require just a handful of ingredients.
    • A fun way to sneak in some vegetables. Jalapenos are actually good for you!
    • You can make these as spicy as you like. Don’t discard all of the jalapeno seeds if you like them spicy. Include some in the cheese mixture.
    • Perfect for a large crowd.

    Ingredient Notes

Jalapeno Peppers – Feel free to use any type of peppers. Avoid habanero peppers or any of those ultra spicy peppers.

Bread Crumbs – I highly recommend using panko bread crumbs for this recipe, it adds a nice crunch. Although you can use regular Italian seasoned bread crumbs.

    Top Tips And Flavor Variations

    • Want to make it low carb and keto-friendly? Omit the breadcrumbs.
    • Because there is no bacon or chorizo involved, I like to season the jalapeno peppers with a little bit of salt. Adds flavor.
    • Not a fan of cheddar cheese? Feel free to use Colby Jack, Pepperjack cheese, or any type of cheese you prefer.
    • Make sure the cream cheese is softened otherwise it will be a bit difficult to mix.
    • Wear gloves when handling jalapeno poppers.

Can I Bake These In The Oven Instead?

Absolutely! Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Place the jalapeno poppers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes.
