    These candied bacon jalapeno deviled eggs are the ultimate appetizer or snack for a large crowd. Perfectly hard-boiled eggs with a deliciously sweet and spicy filling and topping.

    • If you’re not a fan of candied bacon, you can simply replace it with regular oven-baked bacon.

    Ingredient Notes

    Bacon – Although thick but bacon works best for this recipe, feel free to use any bacon you have on hand.

    Jalapenos – You will need both fresh and pickled jalapenos for this recipe.

    Can I Make These Without Jalapenos?

    Yes, of course. You can replace the jalapenos with white onions, shallots, or scallions for some extra crunch and flavor. Feel free to add a splash of hot sauce too!

    Storage

    Place any leftover deviled eggs in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

    These candied bacon jalapeno deviled eggs are the ultimate appetizer or snack for a large crowd. Perfectly hard-boiled eggs with a deliciously sweet and spicy filling and topping.

    Ingredients

    • 6 eggs large
    • 2-3 candied bacon strips
    • 3 tbsp mayo
    • 1 tsp dijon mustard
    • 1 tbsp pickled jalapeno juice
    • 1/2 fresh jalapeno diced
    • 4 pickled jalapenos diced
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • Tajin seasoning optional

    Instructions

    • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Let it come to a boil and cook for 7-8 minutes.
    • Drain the eggs and place them in iced water. Peel the eggs and slice them lengthwise.
    • Remove the egg yolks and transfer it to a large bowl. Season the egg whites with a pinch of salt.
    • Smash the yolks with a fork. Add the mayo, dijon mustard, 1 candied bacon strip chopped, diced fresh jalapenos, diced pickled jalapenos, and pickled jalapeno juice. Season with salt and pepper.
    • Spoon filling into each egg white and top it off with extra candied bacon. Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika or tajin seasoning and enjoy!
