These red velvet fried Oreo cookies are coated in cake batter then fried to perfection. A delicious snack or dessert that tastes way better than the ones at the boardwalk!

- Red Velvet Cake Mix – I used store-bought but feel free to use this red velvet cupcake recipe and make it from scratch.
- Oreo Cookies – I used double stuff Oreos but you can use any flavor you prefer.
How To Make Red Velvet Fried Oreos Step By Step
- Heat the oil to 350 degrees F.
- While the oil comes to temperature, prepare the cake batter according to packaging instructions.
- Dip each Oreo cookie into the batter and then place it in the oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Sift powdered sugar on the cookies and enjoy!
Do You Have To Freeze Oreos Before Frying?
No, some people do but I find that it isn’t necessary.
How Long Do These Last?
Although you can refrigerate these for up to 3 days, I highly recommend enjoying them immediately.
