Buying smoothies at a fancy cafe can be tricky because you don’t know what they put in it and most of the time they’re packed with sugar and fruit juices.

Making homemade smoothies is definitely the way to go. Plus, it’s so much cheaper to make at home. Also, you guys loved my mango banana smoothie recipe so I just had to share another one.

    Ingredient’s You’ll Need:

Spinach – Almost a must when making green smoothies. Although, kale works just as good.

Banana – This will add a little sweetness and creaminess to your smoothie.

Mango Chunks – I like using frozen that way I don’t have to use ice.

Avocado – Fresh or frozen work just as good but I highly recommend using frozen avocado.

Pumpkin Seeds – These provide a tiny bit of crunch every other sip but if you don’t have these feel free to add hemp seeds or chia seeds.

Almond Milk – Any type of milk will work. Coconut water or even plain water works as well.

Honey – Completely optional but I love the extra sweetness it provides.

How to Make Spinach Avocado Green Smoothie

I don’t follow any specific rules when blending smoothies, I just throw everything into a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

    1. Place the spinach, banana, mango chunks, honey, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and almond milk into a blender and blend until you reach your desired consistency.

    Top Tips:

    • Add additional almond milk or water if the smoothie is too thick.
    • If you prefer to use fresh mangoes and avocados make sure to add ice.
    • If you’re not a fan of honey add a pinch of sugar instead!
