These air fryer turkey meatballs are made with ground turkey, ritz crackers, cheese, and lots of garlic! Serve these juicy meatballs with marinara sauce, bbq sauce, or sauceless!

Whenever I have ground turkey on hand, I either make turkey meatloaf or turkey meatballs. Ground turkey is so easy to work with, cooks quickly, and is inexpensive.

Why I Love These Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs

    • You can serve these as an appetizer, lunch, dinner, or side dish. You can also meal prep ahead of time and make these in advance.
    • These meatballs literally melt in your mouth! Super juicy, flavorful, and make the best leftovers ever. Place any leftover meatballs in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
    • You don’t need an air fryer to make these! You can bake them in the oven instead. To make in the oven, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and bake for 16-18 minutes or until fully cooked through.

    Ingredient Notes

Ground Turkey – I used 85% lean turkey. The higher the fat percentage, the juicier the meatballs will be. If you use 93% lean ground turkey, add 1-2 tbsp of oil to the meat mixture.

Ritz Crackers – They’re buttery and sweet, but feel free to use regular bread crumbs instead.

    How To Make

    1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix until well combined.
    2. Using a medium cookie scoop roll the turkey mixture into 2 tbsp balls and place them on a baking sheet.
    3. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray and preheat to 380 degrees F.
    4. Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165 degrees F.
    5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy!

Top Tips For The Perfect Meatballs

    • I like to use 1 tsp of kosher salt for 1 lb of ground turkey but you can certainly season to taste. Feel free to season with chipotle seasoning or Cajun seasoning.
    • Want to make these spicy? Add sriracha or chili powder to the meat mixture!
    • Don’t have ground turkey on hand? Use ground chicken or ground beef.
    • If serving as an appetizer, serve with toothpicks and napkins!

What Can I Serve This With?

You can enjoy these with zoodles, tomato avocado salad, or spaghetti.
