Roasted parmesan Brussel sprouts are one of my favorite side dishes to prepare. These are super flavorful and only require parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper!

Serve these alongside cajun salmon and shrimp and 4 cheese mac and cheese for a delicious dinner!

Roasted vegetables are not only healthy for you, but they are also super delicious and easy to prepare. Sometimes I like to get creative with veggies and go all out as I did with these delicious candied yams, but most of the time I enjoy them plain.

By plain, I don’t mean bland, I mean simple. Sure you may add a bunch of spices and sauces to your veggies but sometimes a little salt, pepper, and olive oil go a long way.

These roasted parmesan Brussel sprouts are probably the best sprouts I’ve ever had. They are incredibly delicious and they pair wonderfully with any meal.

Brussel sprouts are also low carb and keto-friendly. I mean come on! A super delicious easy side dish to prepare that is also good for you. What more can you ask for?

You may certainly add some bacon and sweet potatoes to this Brussel sprouts sheet pan. Get creative!

The most important part about cooking Brussel sprouts is the preparation. Preparation includes washing, trimming, and cutting the Brussel sprouts in half.

Coat the Brussel sprouts with the oil mixture and parmesan cheese.

Place the Brussel sprouts on a baking sheet and bake for 18 minutes.

How to pick the best Brussel sprouts

You want to make sure the Brussel sprouts are heavy, bright green, and the leaves are tight. Avoid Brussel sprouts with black spots or yellow leaves.

Can I make these roasted parmesan Brussel sprouts in advance?

Sometimes I make these in advance and keep them in the fridge for 2-3 days in an airtight container. I heat them up in the microwave for 30-40 seconds or until fully heated through.

How to freeze Brussel sprouts

To freeze Brussel sprouts, you want to let them cool completely after cooking them. Transfer the cooked and cooled Brussel sprouts to a freezer bag or an airtight container and freeze for up to 12 months.
