Halloween was actually my favorite holiday growing up, and I looked forward to it every single year. Getting dressed up for school and then going trick-or-treating later that night was simply the best!

My mom always made the day even more special by putting together appetizers and baking cupcakes for us to enjoy. Those little traditions are probably why I still love Halloween food so much today.
