two creamy garlic parmesan chicken breasts with parsley on top.

Last week I shared these delicious creamy garlic scallops and some of you requested a version with chicken breasts instead. Who am I to not deliver? This is what you come here for, quick and easy recipes that taste amazing. You can always count on me to give you a delicious recipe. You may certainly use chicken thighs but do keep in mind that chicken thighs take longer to cook.

    Ingredients

    • Chicken breasts
    • Heavy cream
    • Butter
    • Oil
    • Italian seasoning
    • Granulated garlic
    • Salt and Pepper
    • Parmesan cheese – freshly grated
    • All-purpose flour
    • Fresh garlic
    • Red crushed pepper – optional

    How to make

    1. Season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and granulated garlic.
    2. Add the all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese to a large platter and mix well. Coat the chicken on both sides, removing any excess flour.
    3. Heat some oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet and set it aside.
    4. Add the remaining butter to the skillet along with the fresh minced garlic and red crushed pepper. Cook for 20 seconds.
    5. Add the heavy cream and remaining parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the sauce thickens. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and place the chicken back into the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and enjoy!
