Air fryer boneless chicken thighs are super juicy and cook perfectly in under 15 minutes! Packed with flavor, low carb, and keto-friendly.
In the mood for a restaurant-quality meal? Serve these chicken thighs with an air fryer loaded baked potato and green beans almondine.
This is probably the easiest air fryer recipe you’ll ever make! Nothing complicated, fancy, or time-consuming. Just season the chicken, pop it in the air fryer, and cook. It’s that simple.
Why You’ll Love These Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Thighs
- These chicken thighs are skinless and boneless therefore they cook a lot quicker than regular bone-in skin-on chicken thighs.
- The chicken has so much flavor, you don’t need any dipping sauces!
- It’s tender, moist, and makes awesome leftovers. You can shred or dice the chicken, and make salads, wraps, or tacos.
Ingredient Notes
- Boneless Chicken Thighs – I used 4 small boneless skin-off chicken thighs, if using larger ones cook for a little extra time. Take the chicken out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking.
- Spices – I used a combination of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Feel free to use a store-bought chicken rub or Cajun seasoning instead.
- Olive Oil – It will add moisture and help the spices stick to the chicken.
How To Make
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the spices. Pat dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel on both sides.
- Coat the chicken thighs with olive oil and season the chicken with the spice blend.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket and sprinkle a little extra salt on top of the chicken.
- Cook for 5 minutes then flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 3-5 minutes before slicing into it and enjoy!
Top Tips
- Try to use evenly sized boneless chicken thighs so they cook evenly. If one chicken thigh is a lot bigger than the rest, cook them in batches.
- Don’t overcook the chicken otherwise, it will be tough and dry.
Can I Use Bone-in Skin-On Chicken Thighs Instead?
Yes, of course. If using bone-in skin-on chicken thighs, cook for 20 minutes at 370 degrees F. flipping halfway. Cook for an additional 2 minutes at 400 degrees F if you like the skin extra crispy.
