    What pork chops to use

Although bone-in pork chops are very flavorful they do require a longer cooking time, therefore, boneless pork chops are my go-to chops for pork chop recipes.

I used boneless 1-inch thick pork chops and seasoned them with salt, pepper, and paprika before searing them on all sides. The paprika adds a nice color to the chops.

There is no marinade required for this easy recipe.

How to make honey garlic pork chops

Without a doubt, this is one of the easiest pork chop recipes you’ll ever make. Here’s all you have to do:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Season the chops with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
    3. Sear the chops for about 5 minutes on each side in a hot skillet with vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Make sure to char the fat on the sides as well. Get it nice and crispy.
    4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside. Add the fresh minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 20 seconds or until fragrant.
    5. Add the honey, chicken stock, and soy sauce and let it come up to a simmer. Place the pork chops back into the skillet and bake until browned, crispy, and fully cooked through.

    Top Tips

    • Don’t press the pork chops down with a spatula, it will release all the juices.
    • Do not overcook the pork chops.
    • Use a meat thermometer and cook the pork chops until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
    • Let the pork chops rest for about 2 minutes before slicing into them, that will help retain the juices.
